The Leofoto LBQ Series Leveling Base with Butterfly Handle acts like a half ball, providing +/-15° of leveling range capability. It locks easily and securely in position with a twist of the large butterfly handle at the base of the ball. This leveling base mounts on the apex of LG/LQ Series tripods via the adapter but also has a 3/8" mounting socket in the base to be mounted on any tripod with a 3/8" mounting stud.
The anti-twist safety screw design uses three set screws on the platform to secure the ball head in place on top of the leveling base.
