The Leofoto YB-75LR Series Leveling Base is designed to help users level a tripod in order to maintain level horizons and reduce time-consuming post-processing corrections. The leveling base features lightweight aluminum construction and a Hybrid Arca + Picatinny Lever-Release Clamp. The handle twists to lock the base in place for ease of use when mounted.

I like it

I deliberated a long time over using a ball head, leveling head, or inverted ball. All of them have advantages and disadvantages. By design this head seemed to have the most stable design Sometimes I wish it had a panning feature built in but with the long handle I can control the virtual white panning. I really like the clamp. So easy to operate.

It’s smooth and quiet. Locks up firmly. Overall it does what it is supposed to do.
